How to plan a Korean product group-buying campaign

A group-buying campaign needs a defined product offer, selling period, order-collection process, and delivery follow-up. Agree these with the supplier before announcing the campaign to your audience.

A woven signal pattern crossed by a continuous coral thread

Define one clear offer

Start with the product, the intended audience, and what is actually included. A bundle, single item, or preorder should be easy to explain without relying on vague urgency. Agree which product details and images the seller may use, and leave unconfirmed claims out of the campaign copy.

  • Agree the selling window and the exact product variants.
  • Confirm the offer with the supply partner before publishing it.

Decide how orders will be collected

Comments and expressions of interest are not the same as confirmed orders. Decide where customers place orders, who verifies payment, and how the final quantity reaches the supply partner. Keep stock updates and customer-facing information aligned, especially if the campaign uses more than one selling channel.

  • Assign one owner for the final order list.
  • Prepare an agreed response for stock changes and customer cancellations.

Plan the work after the selling window

The campaign does not finish when ordering closes. Reconcile the confirmed quantity, share fulfilment updates, and agree who answers delivery questions. Afterward, review what customers asked, which variants they chose, and which operational issues need attention before a second campaign. Use actual order records, not audience size, to review the result.

  • Keep a record of confirmed orders, changes, and outstanding questions.
  • Review supply availability again before announcing a repeat campaign.

Your next step

Prepare a short campaign brief covering the audience, product offer, selling window, order collection, and follow-up owners. Discuss the scope with L.SIK before committing to a launch date.
